The sky charter

Nocturya is a place of correspondence between strangers from all over the world. So that it remains safe and pleasant for everyone, every member accepts the following rules upon signing up.

1. Respect, without exception

You are writing to real people. Racism, hatred, insults, harassment and threats are forbidden everywhere: in letters, public spaces and star cards. This behaviour may result in the sanctions described in Article 7.

2. No sexual content

Letters, public spaces and star cards are not places for sexual remarks, images or innuendo. If a relationship one day grows out of a correspondence, that is between the two people involved. But forcing sexual remarks on someone who did not ask for them, or persisting after a refusal, is among the most severely sanctioned offences.

3. Protecting minors: our absolute red line

The site is restricted to adults (18 or over). Any content, remark or behaviour of a paedocriminal nature leads to an immediate and permanent ban, together with a report to the competent authorities. On this point there is no warning, no second chance and no exception.

4. No advertising, no soliciting

Spam, advertising, commercial links, scam attempts and requests for money, donations or subscribers are forbidden, in all their forms.

5. One person, one account

You are entitled to one account only. Fake identities, impersonation and multiple accounts (in particular to circumvent a sanction) are forbidden.

6. Your caution protects you

You write to strangers: never share sensitive information (address, bank details, identity documents), and beware of anyone who asks for it. Nocturya will never ask you for such information. If in doubt about a message or an email claiming to come from Nocturya, write to us: support@nocturya.com.

7. Reports and sanctions

Every letter, public message, album photo or comment, and star card can be reported, and you can block anyone you choose. Reports are read by people. Depending on the severity, sanctions range from a warning, which temporarily suspends the sending of letters, to a permanent ban. To investigate a report, the moderation team may review reported content, including content that has already been removed.
