Is Nocturya free?
Yes, completely. Writing, receiving letters and corresponding costs nothing.
Who will receive my letter?
One person only, chosen at random from the available members. You do not see their profile before sending. The draw gives priority to people who are online or were recently active, and it will not send you to the same person twice.
Can I choose the recipient's country or language?
No. You can only specify their sex and age range. Their country, language and profile are left to chance.
Is it really anonymous?
Your email is never shown to other members, and you use a username. Your card does display your country, age and anything you choose to add, including a photo or album if you wish. You do not have to provide your real name, address or any other sensitive information.
How long does a letter take to arrive?
The time depends on the real distance between your two countries, at a speed of thirty kilometres per second. A randomly selected wind can speed up or slow down the journey. You can follow the flight from your sky.
How often can we write to each other?
You take turns writing. Thirty seconds after your letter, you can add one wake message of up to three hundred characters, provided the other person has not replied. A few minutes also separate two new letters sent at random.
What are the public spaces?
The Milky Way brings together the photos sent by members, one photo per person every 24 hours. The photos remain available for 30 days. Under the stars, cards prepared during the week become visible at the weekend; replying to one sends a private letter and can open a correspondence. Your letters and correspondence threads remain private.
Can I block someone?
Yes. While the block remains active, this person cannot write to you, and their content is no longer shown to you in the relevant spaces. They are not notified that you blocked them.
How do I report content or a profile?
Use the Report command available on the relevant letter, message, comment or card. The report and its context are sent to the moderation team. If action is taken following your report, a personal message may let you know.
How old do I have to be?
Nocturya is strictly for people aged 18 or over. Every member must accept the Sky Charter when signing up.
How do I delete my account?
You can request deletion in Settings. The account is deactivated immediately, and an email is sent with a personal link you can use to restore it for thirty days. Simply logging back in is not enough. After this period, the deletion and anonymisation are permanent.
What do you do with my data?
Nocturya uses the data required for your account, the features you choose to use, security and moderation. It is neither sold nor used for advertising profiling. The Privacy Policy explains the categories of data, their purposes, how long they are kept and your rights.
